What is Holistic Relaxing Massage…?

Holistic Relaxing Massage is a nurturing treatment that is tailored individually for each client. The meaning of Holistic is ‘whole’; therefore the holistic massage approach is about treating the whole, taking into consideration and accessing not only the physical, but also the mental, emotional and lifestyle habits of each the client.

The aim is to relax, to encourage balance and well-being, therefore the strokes are long and flowing in the direction of blood returning to the heart. This helps to stimulate and encourage blood flow whilst improving oxygen in the blood and helps to remove accumulated waste products, bringing a sense of calm and well-being. 

 As well as this I sometimes include breath work and yogic breath to help encourage deeper relaxation.
